Migrant Clinicians Network
MCN is a trusted source of essential clinical information about emerging primary care issues that occur at the intersection of health and mobility. To best assist clinicians working with migrants, MCN provides a menu of services to meet a variety of needs. Migrant and Seasonal Farm Workers Program
Whether the job is on or off the farm, through our Migrant and Seasonal Farm Worker Program we help farm workers and the employers who hire them. In specially designated regions of the state our Migrant & Seasonal Farm Workers Outreach Specialists focus on helping farm workers to register with our labor exchange system, find jobs, get other basic services, and providing referrals to other community services. http://www.iowaworkforce.org/centers/msfw/index.html

Iowa Legal Aid
Farm workers face many challenges while working, from dangerous work conditions such as heat and exhaustion to not receiving proper pay to public benefit denials. Iowa Legal Aid helps by giving legal advice and/or representation in some civil legal matters that affect the farm worker. Iowa Legal Aid interns and lawyers travel around the state to give presentations to farm workers about their rights and responsibilities while living and working in Iowa. National Advisory Council on Migrant Health (NACMH)
The Federal Migrant Health Program provides staff support to the National Advisory Council on Migrant Health (NACMH). The Council is legislatively mandated to advise, consult with, and make recommendations to the Secretary of Health and Human Services, on the health and well being of migrant farm workers and their families. http://bphc.hrsa.gov/about/nacmh/index.html


Migrant Health Promotion
Migrant Health Promotion builds on community strengths to improve health in farm worker and border communities. Our programs provide peer health education, increase access to health resources and bring community members together with health providers, employers and policymakers to create positive changes. CHAMPS Migrant and Seasonal Farm Workers Resources
The resources were compiled in response to requests by Region VIII CHC staff members striving to provide quality services to migrant and seasonal farm workers (MSFW) and their families. National Center for Farm Worker Health: Online Library
